Pure Synergy. That’s how one student described the coming together of A Chance for Bliss Animal Sanctuary and the Animal Acupressure Training Academy.

A Chance for Bliss Animal Sanctuary is a safe haven for abused, abandoned, and rescued animals with critical care, ageing, and end of life issues. The Animal Acupressure Training Academy is a holistic school founded on the ancient wisdom and principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The Sanctuary provides a real-world classroom for students to learn in a clinical setting, and the Academy’s students provide clinical care for the animals.

Yet it goes much deeper than a partnership of two institutions. For anyone spending time at the Sanctuary, it becomes clear that the animals keep inviting us into a kinship with all life. Students and volunteers at the Sanctuary discover that in giving to the animals they receive the gift of a kinship that opens them to the highest aspirations of their beings. The animals invite us on a journey of what is vital in life—coming home to ourselves and experiencing our connection to all living things.

The mission of the Animal Acupressure Training Academy is to provide students not only with the expertise and tools to become animal acupressure practitioners, but also to have a life-changing experience in personal growth.
